All India Sudoku Championship (AISC)

The name “Sudoku” is derived from the Japanese suuji wa dokushin ni kagiru which means “the numbers (or digits) must remain single. It’s a puzzle with deep roots in Asian history and played across the globe.

What is the All India Sudoku Championship by Malsar?

All India Sudoku Championship is organised twice yearly (Summer Edition and Winter Edition)by MALSAR. The competitions are attended by participants from Metro cities to small towns to even the remotest parts of India. This contest aims to spread awareness and encourage Sudoku culture in the country, inspiring people of all ages to keep their minds young and rewarding the best Sudoku solvers in the country.

The championship comprises three rounds - easy, medium, and hard - each with an elimination process. Complete details will be shared with registered participants, ensuring they are well-prepared for the competition. The problems used will be of many different types.

Tentative Schedule(this is a tentative Schedule and can change the basis of the organiser's decision) :

10 Dec Paid practice from 7 to 8 pm

12 Dec Free practice from 7 to 8 pm

14 Dec Championship

• Round 1: 11 am to 12.30 pm
• Round 2: 3 to 5 pm

21 Dec Championship

• Round 3: 11 am to 1.30 pm

Why should everyone play Sudoku?

Studies have shown Sudoku increases concentration sharpens the mind and reduces stress it is an addictive habit that every child should have. Sudoku helps to calm down and take a much-needed break from the daily chores. One of the acute benefit of playing sudoku is Patience.

Steps for Participation

1. Register and pay the fee to participate.

2. The rules and complete event details will be sent by June 9th.

3. Join the contest on Dec 14 at 11:00 AM through the platform specified by the organizer.

4. Winners will be announced on 25 Dec at 7 PM on Malsar's Instagram page(https://www.instagram.com/_malsar/).

5. Prizes will be dispatched by 30 Dec to the winners.

Note: 

1. Participants need an Active WhatsApp connection, as communication will be done by the same.

2. One player will get one prize only (whichever is higher), for Age-based awards Date of birth proof is required.

3. Prizes money will be sent after 48 hours of championship completion

4. There is no restriction of any kind anyone can participate. Our oldest participant has been 83 year old to youngest 7 year old

5. For participants who have purchased Practice booklet, it will be sent 1 month before the contest.
